Dose changes happen often, especially in the first few months of a new protocol. Here is the process.
If the change is from a provider on the platform
If you got your prescription through the same clinic that runs your storefront, the new dose syncs automatically. Within an hour of your provider updating the prescription, your subscription on the storefront will show the new dose. Your next shipment goes out at the new dose with no action from you.
If the change is from an outside provider
If your dosing instructions came from an outside doctor (for instance, your primary care physician adjusted what your specialist had prescribed), you need to upload the documentation. Open the subscription, hit "Update dose", and upload either:
- A photo of the new prescription
- A note from your provider on letterhead
- A client portal screenshot showing the change
The pharmacy on our side reviews within one business day. Once approved, your subscription updates and the next shipment is at the new dose.
In a hurry?
If you need the new dose this week and your subscription is set to ship later, you can place a one-time order for the new dose at the new amount. The subscription will continue at the old dose until the next reorder, when it will switch over.
What about pricing?
If the new dose is a different SKU, the price may change. You will see the new price before confirming. If the change is significant, your account team will reach out to walk through it.
