Your monthly bill from Platform Health has three sections: platform, usage, and add-ons. Here is what each one is.
Platform
A flat fee that covers your storefront, your dashboard, your operator's time, and unlimited customer accounts. Tier depends on which plan you signed up for. This number is the same every month unless you change plans.
Usage
This is where the bill changes month to month. The usage section breaks out:
- Email sends — included up to a generous threshold (50K/month on Standard). Above that, billed at $0.0006 per send.
- SMS messages — billed per outbound message at carrier cost plus a small margin. Inbound replies are free.
- AI drafts — included up to 10K/month on Standard. Above that, billed at $0.01 per draft.
- Storage — included up to 50GB. Above that, billed at $0.02 per GB-month.
If you are nowhere near the included thresholds, the usage section will be a row of zeros.
Add-ons
If you have turned on optional services — premium concierge, dedicated AI provider keys, additional storefronts — they show up here. Each is billed at its own rate.
Predicting next month
The dashboard has a Billing → Estimate view. It uses your usage in the past 7 days to project the rest of the month. If you are about to cross a tier threshold, you will see a yellow flag here a week before it happens.
When something looks wrong
Two checks first:
- Did you cross a usage threshold this month? The estimate view shows you exactly which line crossed.
- Did you turn on an add-on you forgot about? Settings → Add-ons lists everything currently active.
If neither of those explains it, ping your operator with the invoice number and they will walk through it with you. We do not silently change pricing — every increase has been previewed in your dashboard for at least 30 days.
