Reading your vendor payout in Stripe

A field-by-field walkthrough of what shows up in your Stripe account when our payout lands.

3-min readUpdated

When your monthly payout lands in Stripe, here is how to read it.

In your Stripe dashboard

Go to Payouts. The payout from us is labeled with our Stripe account ID and a description like "Platform Health Marketplace · April 2026". The amount is the net you receive, after our fee.

The "balance" view

Click into the payout to see the underlying transactions. Each line is a single order — you will see:

  • Description — the order ID and the clinic name
  • Gross — what the client paid for the products
  • Application fee — our marketplace fee
  • Net — what was credited to your balance

Refund lines

Refunds processed in the period appear as negative lines. Same format, but the gross is negative and the application fee reversal is shown.

Statement export

In Stripe, hit "Export" on the payout. You can download a CSV or PDF. The CSV is what your accounting team will want — it has every order, every fee, every refund, and a totals row at the bottom.

Reconciling against our dashboard

Every order in Stripe has a corresponding entry in our Sales → Orders view in your dashboard. If you ever need to reconcile a number, the order ID is the foreign key — same in both systems.

Disputes (chargebacks)

If a client files a chargeback through their bank, it shows up in Stripe as a "Dispute". You will get an email within minutes. The flow:

  1. We collect the evidence (order, tracking, signature)
  2. You add anything specific from your side (lot number, photos)
  3. We submit to the bank
  4. The bank decides within 60-90 days

If we win, the funds are returned to your balance. If we lose, the chargeback amount stays debited and we add a small chargeback fee.
